This morning, we will drive along the Via Maris (ancient coastal highway) to Caesarea, the former capital of Roman Judea, built by Herod the Great. Your tour continues to Mt. Carmel, where Elijah challenged the prophets of Baal and Asherah. We will then drive through the Jezreel Valley and visit the ancient city of Har Megiddo, followed by the Nazareth Village, where we will take a unique look at the first-century lifestyle. Afterward, we will continue to Tiberias for the evening.

—Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

After breakfast, we will travel to Golan Heights and visit Tel Dan, an ancient city mentioned in the Hebrew Bible, described as the northernmost city of the Kingdom of Israel, and belonging to the tribe of Dan. Next, we will continue to Caesarea Philippi (Banias), where Jesus gave Peter his name (You are the rock). We will then proceed to Capernaum, where Jesus spent 18 months of ministry and performed more than nine miracles. Finally, we will end our day with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee in a replica wooden boat from the time of Jesus.

—Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

This morning, we will drive along the Jordan Valley to Beit Shean, where we will see the great Roman Theater and walk along the Cardo. Afterward, we will continue to Jericho, followed by the Jordan River, to renew our baptismal vows. Finally, we will head back to the Dead Sea, where you can swim (or float) in its mineral-rich waters, known for its healing properties.

—Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

We begin our day by ascending to the summit of Masada in a modern cable car. We will tour the ruins before continuing to Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered in 1947. Afterward, we will visit the Israel Museum to see the scrolls and a massive model of first-century Jerusalem.

—Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

This morning, we will drive to Bethlehem and visit the Nativity Church, the birthplace of Christ. Next, we will see Shepherds’ Field, have some time to shop at the Christian cooperative store, and meet the native Aramaic Christians who live there.

—Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

This morning begins by walking along the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, then through the Christian Quarter to the Jaffa Gate. We will visit the old city of Jerusalem and see the Western Wall (or Wailing Wall) and the Rabbinical Tunnel. This afternoon, we will visit the Mt. of Olives and walk the Palm Sunday path to the Garden of Gethsemane.

—Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

Today, we will cross the Allenby Bridge into Jordan and drive to Madaba, where we will visit Mt. Nebo. The summit provides a beautiful panoramic view of the Holy Land and Jordan River Valley. Afterward, we will continue to the capital city of Amman, Jordan.

—Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

This morning, we will drive south to Wadi Musa, traveling to Petra through the “Siq” (an immense crack in the Nubian sandstone). Al Khazneh (The Treasury) is one of Petra’s most elaborate temples. Petra’s carved and built structures will surround you on both sides. It is truly an amazing site. Afterward, we will return through the Siq to Wadi Musa and back to Amman.

—Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

This morning, we will travel to Jerash, known as the “Pompeii of the East,” for its extraordinary state of preservation. Its most well-known monuments include the colonnaded street, the Temple of Zeus, the Forum, and Hadrian’s Arch. After our tour is complete, we will return to Jericho.

—Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.
